Quilted Strait Row of Houses, PDF Pattern

Quilted Strait’s Houses Row Pattern was inspired by the old houses at Port Gamble and the fall trees. Pattern includes fabric requirements, cutting directions, assembly diagrams and full sized applique templates for the trees. We used Kaffe Fassett fabrics in our row – but of course you can use anything you like – we saw a wonderful version done in black and white prints! 1/8 yard pieces and scraps are all you need to complete the row, and scraps of wool if you choose to create the trees using wool applique and embroidery. The blocks were designed for Row by Row 2014, but the row finishes at 9″ x 36″ and so makes a perfect table runner with the addition of borders. Finished house blocks measure 6″ x 9″.
